Bus fire - M11 - South Cambs

At 6.42am on Wednesday (28) crews from Cambridge, Sawston and Royston (Hertfordshire) were called to a bus fire on M11 Southbound near Hauxton.

Crews arrived to find a bus well alight. Wearing breathing apparatus firefighters used hose reels to extinguish the fire before returning to their stations by 9.05am.

One person was treated by crews for minor burns to hands.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
